Miami’s Planning Department is currently processing plans for Midtown 5, a 400-unit rental project, and an approval could be issued in a matter of days.
Midtown 5 is inspired by the movement of the ocean that surrounds Miami. With its serpentine wave form to the flowing fabric panels, the proposed 24 story tower fits contextually into the surrounding neighborhood. The building’s tensile fabric panels, influenced by an artist canvas, are curved to mimic the form of the tower.
The property is uniquely positioned between two artistic areas, Wynwood to the southwest and the Design District to the north. These two vibrant neighborhoods have influenced Midtown with lifestyle amenities including exclusive boutique shopping, dining and everyday conveniences.
Midtown 5 offers the ideal blend of elegance and edge with 400 brand new rental apartments. Built with sustainable materials and design for LEED certification, Midtown 5 presents innovative floor plans, 54,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor fitness amenities, covered breezeways, gathering spaces, a rejuvenating pool, spa, sauna and green space. Additional features include a smoke free environment, car charging stations, pet friendly homes, bike storage and washing area, 24 hour door and maintenance service and package receiving.
