Edgewater’s Missoni Baia tower has topped off at the maximum permitted height in the neighborhood.
According to the developer, the Missoni tower topped off at 57 stories and 649 feet.
Rules designed to keep air traffic from Miami International Airport safe limit the height of buildings in Edgewater to 649 feet above sea level.
A previous approval letter from the FAA listed a tower height of 646 feet above ground and 649 feet above sea level for the project.
Completion is scheduled for late 2021, the developer said.
Sales have been strong this year, with $121 million worth of units sold since January 2021. Most of the 249 condos planned in the building are now sold.
Asymptote Architecture’s Hani Rashid designed the tower.
OKO Group and Cain International are the developers.
