Moishe Mana Buys Another Downtown Miami Property, & Is Working On Buying Three More

Another downtown Miami property has been sold to Moishe Mana, according to the Herald.

Mana’s latest acquisition is a 15,478-square-foot surface parking lot at 201 SW First Street. He paid $6.9 million for the property.

The reason for the purchase: it is an assemblage needed for a development that Mana is planning. Mana said that owning the newly acquired property is “the only way to build something.”

Mana also said he is now in negotiations to buy three additional downtown Miami properties, but did not disclose where they are.

The developer is planning to build a downtown Miami project called Mana Common, and has spent $400 million buying property in the area.

Just build something already. This guy is holding downtown hostage..

At this point, these articles about this guy just make me sick. Even if he were to start building tomorrow morning it would not erase the fact that, like you just said, he has been holding downtown hostage for all these years. Had these properties been sold to a real developer like the Melos, Miami would look and feel a lot different right now.

Doesn’t make sense to build all these properties are the same time and makes more sense to build an couple together. So hes just going to flip all this property.

Am in downtown nothing that Mana builds will bring in customers parking and traffic is horrible! Homeless everywhere, art galleries will flop, the only business that will bring in the paying customer is the MEGA ROSS STORE they are building in the old MACYS building…at the end of flagler by courthouse….that means tourists will have to walk all the way down down flagler to old MACYS building ……and with what’s happening with CORONAVIRUS and cruise liners I doubt that will be happening anytime soon….

Say what you want about they guy, but if his plans pan out (BIG if), his projects would have a massive impact on downtown and Miami as a whole, and would be better then some developers that just put up a monolith and call it a day.

He must be using straw buyers to acquire these properties. Everybody knows he’s trying to assemble a big, contiguous block of properties, so the sellers have the upper hand. If I own downtown property and Mana comes knocking, I’m doubling the asking price.

Can someone make a map of all the properties Mana owns now?
