Museum Of Ice Cream To Open Permanent Location At Miami Worldcenter In 2024

Museum of Ice Cream has announced plans to open a permanent location at Miami Worldcenter in 2024.

The new location will have two floors and over 14,000 square feet, with an entrance at Worldcenter’s pedestrian promenade.

There will be 10 unique, interactive installations inspired by the energy and vibrancy of Miami, including:

  • the Cream Liner, a luxury airliner experience inspired by the 60s and 70s
  • Mary-E’s Diner, a retro-futurism inspired hub and gathering place for ice cream-themed drinks and food
  • The Hall of Freezers, an exploratory space filled with dozens of mysterious refrigerator doors that are sure to peak curiosity
  • MOIC’s iconic sprinkle pool

Guests will have access to unlimited sweet treats from five stations during a 60-90 minute journey, a press release said.

Museum of Ice Cream previously opened a temporary space at Faena Miami Beach in 2017. It proved so popular that the original plan for a 2-month exhibit was stretched to 6 months.

The address for the permanent location at Worldcenter will be 851 NE 1st Avenue, (Unit #134).

Great, now I can see new backgrounds when swiping through dating apps. I was getting bored seeing the same girls in a pool full of sprinkles.

My biggest hope is that MWC can really differentiate itself from BCC. Create a totally new experience

No place can compare to BCC! It’s an urban planning marvel for US and world. Excited to see MWC add it’s own flare to Miami too!

It’s not a real museum 🤣🤣 it’s literally just a place to take Instagram pictures

Sill more of a cultural attraction than an art show with a banana hammered to a wall.

It is very real, actually – and super cool! Can’t wait to have this open

Yeah, OK. I’m cool w this. As long as it’s not going to be in the space some are speculating as the Apple Store, and it looks like it’s not.

It’s not a museum. It’s a photo set for instagram. And not a very good one at that.
The last one I forced to go to with family didn’t even explain how ice cream was made. Then they gave you a horrible sample of what they called ice cream at the end of the tour. Total rip off.

His son can take Chinese “investors” to the clubs around the corner and enjoy snorting coke in the bathrooms too.
