Natiivo Announces February 2021 Groundbreaking, Will Include Gale Hotel & Residences

Downtown Miami’s proposed 51-story Natiivo tower has announced a groundbreaking date and hotel operator.

Construction is expected to begin in February 2021, with opening in Summer 2023. Permitting is already underway.

The developer also announced an operator for a hotel and condo-hotel.

Gale Miami Hotel and Residences will manage hotel rooms and condo-hotel located on floors 11 through 23 of Natiivo.

Natiivo will include:

  • 100 Gale hotel rooms
  • 140 Gale hotel-condo units (for sale)
  • 127 Creative HQ office condos
  • 448 residential condos
  • 70,000 square feet of amenities curated by LDV Hospitality
  • Ground-floor Italian market and restaurant called Dolce Mercato, and Bodega

Over 64% of the residential condo units at Natiivo have already been sold, including 12 sales in October alone.

The project is being developed by Keith Menin and Marisa Galbut, who have been mentored by their father Russell Galbut, the founder of Crescent Heights.

Pricing for the Gale Miami Hotel and Residences will start in the $300,000s, with Cervera handling sales.

Arquitectonica’s Raymond Fort and his father, Bernardo Fort Brescia are designing the building, with interiors by Urban Robot Associates.

Is anyone else thinking the same thing as me? Another “Italian” market? Seriously? Are “Italian” markets the new Publix? I love pasta but jeez.

Maybe if Mana ever builds his Chinese center, he can open a Chinese market with fresh bats.

It is not a market in its traditional sense. It is more like a restaurant.

This project looks like a good quality box. I like the brick base, something different for Miami.

Love the brick base. Wish we had more in Miami. Would love for there to be a brick skyscraper like Chicago and New York have.

This area needs office space

The Innovation Center is right there so if it hopefully happens, that will be a ton of office space and the best kind “tech”!

This is a residential area and it’s great like that. Leave the offices to brickell

Park West and Miami Worldcenter are not “a residential area”, but a mixed use urban center. The AAA is across Biscayne. Doubt anyone lives there. MDC isn’t exactly “residential” either.

That building is going to look amazing with its “dia-grid” exterior! Can’t wait!

The prime locations towards the bay with direct views are going to be for condos as they can charge a premium for the views. Office space and retail will rise towards the back where the views may not be as nice, but the land is much cheaper.

Also don’t forget all the office space coming to Biscayne Boulevard one block way and that’s where the ICONIC buildings should be located. Nice infill next to new shopping and entertainment

I’m sure people will sign up for MDC just to use their parking garage across the street.

Why does the renderings for this project always appear to show a park to the North of the building? There is no park there.

Anonymous

And don’t need it either. There is a park, and actually more than one, almost right across the street.

Anonymous

Maybe there will be. There should actually be a park on both sides of the Freedom Tower.

Anonymous

Why?.. there are very little used parks literally right across the street.

Leave the iconic buildings for Biscayne Boulevard

Sure is nothing “Iconic” about this design. Looks like something a second grader drew up.

Nothing but boxes are designed in Miami

And this box was really designed with very little to no imagination.

Looks like it’s gonna go up quick. It’s going to have an Italian restaurant? Maybe it’ll offer pizza. I love pizza.

Anonymous
