830 Brickell is planned to rise 57-stories and 724 feet, making it the second tallest office building in Miami.

Foundation digging now appears to be underway in preparation for a pour, and $300 million in construction financing is in place.

Oko Group is the developer.

Another “only in the U.S.” charade. A developer owns a property, the neighbor is not happy so they sue to prevent you from building on your property.

Sometimes it is an good option, in this case its not but the option being there doesn’t hurt.

Nope, NIMBYism is EVERYWHERE. More like only in Miami would owners of a crummy building with a 7-Eleven be against a Class A office tower next door.

Shul is just pissed they didn’t redevelop their property better to make more money. They could have put a skyscraper on top of their building and fund their budget for years.

What is Shul’s reasoning for filing the suit? Do they think they can keep property they don’t own from ever being developed just because the reside next door?
