New Details Of ‘Minimalist Post-Modern’ Lofty Brickell Tower, Designed By Arquitectonica

A broker has uploaded new details and draft drawings of the recently revealed Lofty Brickell tower.

The website appears to be unaffiliated with the developer, so it isn’t clear how accurate the new details and drawings are.

Lofty Brickell will feature a “minimalist, post modern aesthetic,” with Arquitectonica the architect of the tower, the website says.

The tower will rise 35 stories, or 387 feet, the drawings show.

No parking garage appears to be included in the angles that are shown, although it isn’t quite clear. Valet parking will be offered, the website says.

Studios to 2 bedrooms range in price from $505,000 to $903,000. Buyers will be permitted to rent their units on a daily basis through Airbnb and other platforms.

The project is estimated to go to contract in January 2022.

Too late!.. developers hire them because they’re, “cheap cheap…”

Enough of Melo. Melo towers are much more ugly any day than Arquitectonica’s towers!

The “draft” proposal here isn’t that bad. At least it’s not a box. Still, certainly underwhelming for its location. It would fit much better inland West Brickell, the Arts & Entertainment District (a.k.a. Meloland), or Edgewater.

Isnt this the same spot from last week’s post about a “lofty” design? Showed earlier renderings by some architect named Palma? Two very different designs with very different heights.

How about doubling the hight. This is a waste of this location.

This is underwhelming to be on the River

Doubt this under 400 feet, no way they can monetize that land buy unless theres multiple phases.

Whatever just connect the riverwalk!

from your lips to gods ears. And they need to connect the full river walk from Jose Marti to the Brickell Circle, not just patches on opposite sides of the river.

Minimalist?!? There’s quite a bit of visual noise going on here. And I’m not sure the signature design element (of random breaks in otherwise standard balconies) – or any element for that matter – actually qualifies as post modern. But, hey, it all sounds good! Kinda like curvilinear… [insert rolled-eye emoji here…]

It’s not boring enough to be minimalist, but still boring for its location.

Whatever happened to the Edge Brickell? Is it dead?

dead, they finally removed the sales center after years

It was never alive to begin with because it was clearly a speculative flip attempt.

Again its going to look nothing like that, we will wait until they submit approval to the city to see what is actually looks like.

Wait. Who’s designing? Architectonica?
I know what it will look like…. Square box with juxtaposed dancing balconies and perhaps a slanted roof. Simple

Do you mean – “see what “it” actually looks like?”

I wonder if they will remove the fence bordering the underline, would connect and open up the area for sure.

Is the KLA school still there? I’m sure that would piss off a lot of area residents if they evict the preschool that sits on that lot now.

Again, the name “Lofty Brickell” is very stupid. Even my 9 year could come up with a better name.

“we must figure out how to put the company out of business?”

Son, Arquitectonica pay taxes… so good luck in your endeavor.
