New MiamiCentral Rendering Shows Two Additional Towers

All Aboard Florida has released an updated rendering of MiamiCentral that shows two new towers planned at the project.

Previously, renderings had shown a single “supertower” that was approved for a 1,000-foot height by the FAA.

Later, the developer obtained permission to close two streets and replat the area.

Of the two new towers, most will be devoted to office and hotel space.

One tower will have 750 hotel rooms and 50,000 square feet of retail space, while the second tower will have 800,000 square feet of office space and an additional 50,000 square feet of retail, according to plat documents.

Wonderful.
The office market downtown will improve in the next 5 years. Nothing is being built to meet that demand.

Office market will only improve if the overall price of living comes down. Many Fortune 500 companies are being swayed away from downtown Miami because of the high cost.

already the 3rd best behind NYC and Chicago but that’s only because we lack good public transit. but once we get that Miami will definitly be Americas top city and the new world capitol.

Miami just keeps getting better and better each day! Places like NYC, Chicago and Miami have a high standard to live up to as the rest of the country looks up to us and we not only live up to that standard but we exceed it! Miami has everything NYC and Chicago have to offer but the difference is we have something those other 2 will never have, great weather!

This to me isn’t good news I was looking forward to that thousand footer. Now if it was 2 thousand footers now that would be awesome!

I’ve heard that the two towers are 800 footers- not too bad. :/

I rather have 2 800ish footers than 1 single 1000 footer. More depth in the area. Besides, many 900-1000 footers are on their way sooner or later.
