Austrian Airlines will begin nonstop flights from Miami to Vienna this fall.
The airline is a subsidiary of Lufthansa, and adds to an already large MIA operation. Lufthansa flies daily to Frankfurt (on an A380), has up to 14 weekly flights to Zurich (through Swiss International Air Lines.)
Lufthansa also offered flights from Miami to Munich this winter, but rumors in the German press have the flight shifting to Dusseldorf due to weak performance.
