New Rendering Of 61-Story Brickell Gateway As Developer Requests Final Approval

The developers of the proposed 61-story Brickell Gateway tower have submitted a request for final approval of the project from county planners, and released a new rendering.

According to the July 22 final submission to Miami-Dade, Brickell Gateway is planned to rise 747 feet above ground and include:

  • 504 multifamily residential units
  • 18,287 square feet of retail space on the first two floors
  • 348 parking spaces

Instead of going through the City of Miami planners, the developers are taking advantage of the property location in a rapid transit zone, allowing review by county planners.

Final review of the project began June 30, after the process was initiated in March.

Demolition at the site was completed within the past few months.

Gazit Horizons and Atlantic Pacific are the developers, with Corwil the architect.

Love the design, but…I wish they had half of the parking garage underground. 15 Levels above street level is ridiculous is it looks hideous.

Parking base is hideous but glad to see another development in Brickell!

What, would you rather see another hideous mural like on CitizenM? IMHO, it looks like any office building at first glance. The requirement to conceal parking garages has done more harm than good.

No, I would rather see no parking garage. You know, like in real cities?

Still too much of a produced parking garage podium but at least it’s less than a 1:1 parking ratio. Heck, it’s right across from the metrorail. 👏
