New Renderings Of Robert A.M. Stern Architects’ St. Regis Residences: Demand Has ‘Surpassed All Expectations’

The developers of the twin-tower St. Regis Residences project in Brickell have released new renderings and say that demand for condo units is much stronger than expected.

“Demand for The St. Regis Residences, Miami surpassed all expectations,” said Jon Paul Pérez, President of developer Related Group.

The St. Regis Residences will feature two towers, rising 48 and 47 stories, designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. Interiors are by Rockwell Group.

The eastern Astor Tower accumulated $400 million in sales since launching in March, according to a press release today.

Developer have now launched sales for the western William Tower, which will have 183 units.

Paul Whalen, a partner at Robert A.M. Stern Architects, previously said the nautical-inspired towers would be a “gift to the Miami skyline.”

Miami keeps getting better architecture

Except for every couple of these and Okan Tower, we get ten Arquitectonica or Melo boxes with scattered balconies and windows on prime real estate.

I said that miami is getting better architecture I did n’t say that they were n’t building any more ” cereal boxes ”. I don’t think that developers will continue to build 10 cereal boxes for every 2 luxury towers because building in downtown keeps getting very expensive so it’s very difficult to build affordable housing on prime real estate, I think aria reserve will be melo’s last waterfront project , they are going to build most of their future projects on midtown and west of the omni so I think that for every 10 buildings developers build 5 will be luxury and 5 will be cigarette boxes

Worst part? I know Hialeah bashing is a pastime joke on this blog, but there are far worse areas.

The question is how did you survive being a slave to the Palmetto and Okeechobee Rd?

A “gift” to the Miami skyline is right. Especially considering the junk littering Brickell Ave directly to the south.

Anonymous

I live at brickell place ( condo to the south) and don’t consider it “junk”!

Difference of opinion. I prefer modern glitzy towers.

You’re stupid. I have friends that live in those towers and the apartments are better than anything that they are building now for the same price.

I don’t live in Brickell Place, but they are great buildings. State of the art when they were built.
Those are are the buildings that replaced SFRs to bring the density to Brickell.

Brickell Place is on the same level as Four Ambassadors. Maybe they were nice like a century ago, but today they are just major eye sores taking up prime real estate.

the junk littering brickell ave ? not all of the buildings are junk , it has some nice buildings also like 600 brickell plaza , 701 brickell ave , colonnade plaza , 4 seasons hotel , echo brickell , 1450 brickell , brickell arch ,the BB&T Building , 1221 Brickell , 1101 Brickell and 999 Brickell

Would be a lovely and welcome addition to that area of Brickell. That area of the skyline needs beefing up and better balance.

Between this project and E11even. Miami is entering a new era of interior design.

bob

E11 towers won’t get built this cycle. Haven’t even applied for a building permit.

Expect these towers excel at exterior design where E11even doesn’t.

I think your referring to an age or a period of interior design. Definitely not an era.

Epoch maybe. But in Real Eatate geological terms I would never call this an Era

A gift to Miami’s skyline is a bit of a stretch. They just blend in the skyline

Anonymous

Yeah.. saying “the nautical-inspired towers would be a gift to the Miami skyline” is like saying their building these towers for free and not for profit.

Anonymous

It’s free to look at nice towers.

People can also look and see boats in the Bay and Ocean for free also but I would hesitate on calling them a “gift to the coast” of Florida.

south brickell buildings aren’t that tall for now so it doesn’t blend it. it adds some height variation to the southern part of the sky line that runs from the julia tutle to the rickenbacker causeway.

Anonymous

It literally blends right into Santa Maria next door lol

Honestly the palace, the Atlantis, vila Regina and the imperial stand out more than this…

Anonymous

I agree the only real tower that sticks out and adds to the skyline (at least for right now) is the southeast financial tower. The next would be the Aston Martin everything else blends in
