New Renderings Of St. Regis Residences Planned In Brickell

Developers Related Group and Integra Investments recently released new renderings of the St. Regis Residences tower planned in Brickell.

Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA) is designing the 48-story tower, with interiors by Rockwell Group.

The project will include 152 residences, with over 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities.

A demolition permit to clear the site was applied for in June.

Also in June, Miami’s UDRB reviewed and approved the proposed plans.

In July, the Federal Aviation Administration approved the tower’s permanent height at 630 feet above ground, or 639 feet above sea level.

In August, a construction permit was applied for, with review now underway.

Is this even in Brickell? There’s no metro mover station close by. Who would live in a vertical condo so far from transit?

do you really think people that are purchasing a condo at the St. Regis are getting on a bus or metromover. hahahah

New York, yes. Miami, no.

This has to be sarcasm. You think people buying at the St Regis give a shit where the closest metromover station is?!

We need a metro extension here!

Who cares? It’s another basic residential building for non-residences outside the core. It won’t do anything for the streetscapes in the City.

Why is there a park here when every home has a yard? The city should sell 1814 “Brickell Park” and acquire a lot in central Brickell where more people live. There are mansions all around this park with ample yards, making it less necessary. Let’s consider trading the park for more suitable urban land, like the Domus Flats II lot or something along the Miami River.

Trade the park! Trade the park! Trade the park! For where we need them!

Agree exchange this unused park for one where the density and foot traffic is in Brickell. Why are taxpayers maintaining a park for rich mansion owners who have huge yards and can buy their own parks?

I agree that we need a park in central brickell but why tear down this one? It’s just a small patch of grass with a children’s slide and citi-bikes.

Robert Stern is an amazing AIA. My only critique is that his buildings outside of NYC have bathrooms and closets that are wayyyy too small. His firm designs as if its a Manhattan apartment building.

Gorgeous and elegant. Surprised Related chose RAMSA. Guess they are getting tired of the zig-zagging balconies.

The St. Regis brand and South Brickell aren’t for OnlyFans camwhores.

I think this is exactly the type of spot where Larsa Pippen would want to live. South Brickell is for old daddies who want to look at the city, without being directly in it.

Hopefully this tower can spur development along the rest of South Brickell!

I’d rather see less density in southern brickell since it’s further from transportation and would just cause more vehicle traffic. Plus there’s a bunch of single-family mansions there that would look funny with more density there, and it’s not very walkable.

Hopefully this tower can spur design quality standards for rest of Brickell and Greater Downtown Miami!

oh yeah, right along all the single family homes and historic mansions – worst spot to develop in Miami, it’s already developed!

This area isn’t walkable and is too far from the core actually

You people REALLY need to get out more. How on earth could someone believe this area isn’t walkable? It’s a 5 min walk to the Four Seasons building and maybe 10 to the Metro.

I was looking at buying one of the top floor penthouses but it was too inexpensive for me. Need something a little nicer
