Night Sight Photos Of Zaha Hadid’s One Thousand Museum After Cranes Removed To Reveal Facade

Tower cranes at Zaha Hadid’s 62-story One Thousand Museum were removed this month, and completion is now on track for early 2019.

Closings will begin 1Q 2019, the developers said this week.

Also this week, the developers announced the sale of a half-floor residence for $6.4 million. It is one of just a few half-floor units remaining in the 83-unit building, brokers said.

One Thousand Museum is Zaha Hadid’s first and only residential skyscraper in the western hemisphere.

OMG Parking.. the horror!

Yes, because buying a unit at 1000 Museum will instantly qualify you for a Free Miami-Dade Bus System Golden Passport.

Where do you park your car?

NE 2nd Ave is really horrible. These 5 towers (plus MWC’s garage) have turned that street into a virtual highway south of I-395.

IT will take a lot of work, but if the City has vision they can help to transform this into a complete street in the future.

Or buI’ll a modern street car up to Wynwood and Midtown before all the space is gobbled up.

I think it is awesome building….no doubt! But the price point is at least double per square foot of Paramount. The more I drive by Paramount the more I appreciate her — lurking alone by itself with a massive presence and a ton to do in and around it.

I always thought 1000 would be my top choice, but if I had to decide today it’d be Paramount. OK, I won’t get a helipad but I’ll get a place for my Uber Air at Paramount and a soccer field 🙂

I know I’ll get some haters – but that’s just me….

Zaha Hadid building.. buyers paying for the name, plus those views.

Anonymous

The views are only decent in some of the units…and the backside of the building will be completely blocked by the upcoming Hines building.

Yep-buyer beware

It will be stunning. Wow, what a view of an awesome building. Can’t wait for my view from the 24th floor.

You are comparing a Toyota with a Ferrari.

It has an ungainly overall appearance especially at the top where it looks unfinished. The base is gimmicky and overdone.

Agree – also what’s up with the gaps/lines in the exoskeleton? Not as put together as we expected.

You’d have far too many neighbors @ Paramount, 1000 Museum buyers are paying for exclusivity.

Anonymous

Hmmm…I’m debating this one but with 5 pools and private elevators to units — I don’t think that’ll be an issue over 10 acres.

peej

as if Zaha’s doesn’t have private elevators?

& it’s definitely not 10 acres of amenities @ Paramount, the eventual Hines office tower replaced the soccer fields…

Anonymous

Nope soccer field is absolutely still coming. Yep, Hines field completely blocks back side of Hadid.

I agree with the original post. Ford and Porsche? Hardly. More like if you want to pay for the name and prefer quiet / stuffy or more fun and modern……

Paramount Miami World Center v.s. One Thousand Museum is more like Mercedez-Benz v.s. Maserati respectively. Ford is a Melo building.

Agents are paid a percentage based upon the price of a unit—if you are implying that the OP is an agent—he/she would rather sell a unit 1000 museum as they are significantly more expensive which would mean a far greater commission.

Love posts like this – anytime anyone posts anything critical – let’s go back and suggest they’re an agent. Do you leave the too much parking comments too? 🙂

Ja! Most likely you work at Paramount.
If I had to choose, I pick Marina Blue at 1/3 of the cost.

This is by far my favorite tower in town, but I hope they have a good maintenance plan–most of the GFRC panels are already starting to yellow. I wish those aerial pressure-cleaners all the best…

They’re going to have to paint them.

To expensive for what they call exclusivity ….. when at neighbor buildings with same view you can buy at 1/3 price per square footage

Anonymous

Some have even better views, look at Marina Blue for example.

Marinablue prices are nothing compared to this but they will skyrocket soon as this area becomes better and better. Personally, I’d buy a PH at Marinablue at a way cheaper price than this and with better views. I love that building, best location in town.

I’ve never admired Zaha’s work (RIP), but this is an outstanding tower. Need more of this in Miami.

Just another building in a row of buildings….it’s new/nice — but worth a 10% premium over the nearby buildings like the Marquis – not 50+%. Good luck!

Looks like QC wasn’t a huge concern for those grfc panels. The ones at the bottom are different shades and the the joints don’t all line up.

Anonymous

Dude the building is not finished yet.

Anonymous

The point of those panels was they were fit and finish quality. If they have to go back and rework them they lose value.

All these opulent towers with exorbitant prices make my head spin, when I cannot afford anything at all for my baby boy and I to live in
Those that troll the grounds, clamoring to pay the presumptuous premiums abound
Their vapid stares surround all the fabricated beauty
The cold steel and people send shivers down my spine
The blood of the less fortunate fill their glasses instead of wine
Despite all the all the glitz and lighting, there is no real warmth here
All this external decadence will never fill the internal void which they fear

I’ve recently seen this in person and the permanent carbon fiber form work on the upper columns doesn’t look that great. I think they’ll have to paint them in the future.
