Nonstop Flights Between Miami & Serbia Could Be Announced Soon

Miami could soon have nonstop flights to Serbia, according to EX-YU Aviation News.

Serbia’s Ambassador to the United States Marko Djuric made the announcement in a visit to Miami last week.

Djuric said a formal announcement could be made by Air Serbia later this year, with service to begin in 2025.

Serbia is also considering opening a consulate in Miami, he said. New York and Chicago are the only other U.S. cities with Serbian consulates, and are also the only U.S cities served by Air Serbia.

If we can only get nonstop to Tokyo, or any point in eastern Asia sooner than later.

I’m guessing this has something to do with the large Russian population in Serbia now.

Istanbul, Bangkok, Lisbon, etc. Anywhere that’s easy to get a passport will have Russians now.

Huge number of Russians in Buenos Aires. No visa requirements for Russians.

Air Serbia is small. I’m guessing that there’s simply a big enough economic forecast/demand to fill one of their few planes, once a week or so, for vacations and/or visits to relatives in Dade and Broward. Especially visiting the relatives, who’ve run away from Chicago and New York like everyone else.

Serbia is only country where Russian airlines can flight directly from Moscow, so it made for Russian “tourists” to avoid less convenient flight through Istanbul.

I like visiting Nikola Jokić myself. It is better than Bogdan Bogdanovic.

All for it. The easier it is to get to those Serbian girls the better (and Croatian, but that’s politically incorrect).

If you’re concerned with rising rents, buy a house or move somewhere more affordable.

You live in a hot city. You’re not entitled to low rent. Save your money and adjust your priorities like the rest of us.
