Norse Atlantic Airways Plans Hundreds Of Employees In Fort Lauderdale, Along With HQ Office

A startup airline has announced plans for multiple new routes out of Fort Lauderdale, along with a new headquarters office and hundreds of employees.

Norse Atlantic Airways plans flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Oslo, London, and Paris soon after it launches.

Norse Atlantic also announced plans last week to have its U.S. headquarters at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, according to the Sun Sentinel.

In addition to the HQ office, the airline plans to have hundreds of flight attendants based in the Fort Lauderdale area, along with pilots.

The Fort Lauderdale-Oslo route will be among the first for the airline, with FLL to London and Paris also expected to launch in 2022.

The company has ordered 15 Boeing 787s, with deliveries starting in December 2021. All of the planes should be delivered by summer 2022.

The main office for the company is in Arendal, Norway.

I don’t like your comment, and I posted that I don’t like it as wel. I also downvoted it.

You trying to openly dictate the blog content here to the blog creator is comical.

I also get to comment on your comments. See the “reply” button?

Its funny how all the low cost airlines (Spirit, Southwest etc) have moved to MIA now and yet this random company decides to fly out of FLL?

Anonymous

They’ve added flights to MIA, not moved them. Spirit and SW are still much larger at FLL than at MIA

When will the new routes actually fly?

They only speak Spanish in Miami
Way too much crime in Miami/Miami Beach
South Beach is totally over
Even the gays have fled up to Ft. Lauderdale
MIA is a jungle
FLL is so much nicer and easier
There are English speakers in Ft. Lauderdale
The bad people know their place

broward is looking like a shit show with their policies and is not as international as miami. But at least its not far from Miami so its still a win for south FLA has a whole. And btw you’re complaining about the crime in Miami? You clearly haven’t been to NY Philly Chicago LA San Fran those places have WAY HIGHER crime than we do.

I would like to see expanded coverage of Broward development. South Dade/Homestead too.

It is a bottom if the barrell scrape to come up with 16 new threads a week for just City of Miami developments, and it shows. How many posts about Brightline and proposed supertalls that have zero chances of being built can be cranked out?
