One Bayfront Plaza Will Still Include 500K SF Office Space

The residential unit count is increasing at One Bayfront Plaza, but the project will still include a significant office component.

A spokesperson for the developer told The Next Miami that the project is still expected to include about 500,000 square feet of office space, despite an increase in the number of residential units. There will also be still be hotel and retail components.

Property records show that the office building currently on the site is also about 500,000 square feet The replacement office space will be Class A, however.

The developer also confirmed to TNM that the residential unit count is now expected to be 1,350 units (up from 902 and 1,052 units previously announced), as discussed at a meeting with city planning officials in June. The units are being built as rental apartments.

Has anyone checked where the focal point of that curved glass will be?
The “Walkie Talkie” in London melted cars and had to be retrofitted with shading.

We are putting a solar panel at the focal point for maximum efficiency.

It will also be a food truck that sells tacos and local brewery beer and you can gamble at said truck, truck designed by Kobi Karp and planned by Mana.

Waiting on approval from the FAA for the 11 foot height.

That’s a lot of new office for downtown Miami to absorb.

Office is in high demand, it is condos that have over-saturated the market.
