Only New York Had More Construction Activity In The First Half Of 2015

Construction starts in the Miami area were up 38% in the first half of 2015, ranking second highest in the nation.

With nearly $3 billion worth of construction getting underway during the period, Miami overtook Washington D.C., Houston and Los Angeles in new construction activity. New York was the only city that had a higher level of construction starts.

Nationally, construction activity was up 13% during the first half, led by a 72% increase in New York.
