Owner Of Fast-Growing Indian Airline Buys $30M Home, Moving To Miami ‘Permanently’

The owner of one of the fastest growing airlines in the world is moving to Indian Creek Island.

Rakesh Gangwal and his wife closed on the purchase of 17 Indian Creek Island Road for $30 million last month. A broker told TRD that Gangwal intends to move there ‘permanently.’

Gangwal co-founded India’s IndiGo airline in 2006, and controls a nearly 50% stake.

IndiGo now has over 500 flights a day, and one of the largest order books for Airbus aircraft of any airline in the world.
