Park West Development Where 340 Apartments Planned Submitted To FAA

An application has been filed with the Federal Aviation Administration requesting height approval for a development in Park West.

The May 11 application is for a property where a Major Use Special Permit was approved by Miami planners in 2011. It is owned by RNG Overtown LLC.

According to a 2011 article in the SFBJ, the project was proposed to include two 27-story towers with:

  • 340 multifamily units
  • 3,130 square feet of retail
  • 478 parking spaces

A City of Miami lobbyist registration lists the project name as “City Center.”

The structure or structures will top off at 278 feet above ground, or 289 feet above sea level, the FAA filing states.

There does not appear to be any construction permits pending for the property.

Is that a old photo? It looks like the Brightline Tracks when it was being built.

Two 27 stories towers at this site would be amazing. Let’s hope they are affordable housing. annonymus

They can build affordable outside and far from the city core. Definitely not here. We need luxury here.
