FAA Approval Now In Process For 750-Foot Tower Crane At E11even

Contractors building the the 65-story E11even Hotel & Residences have applied for Federal Aviation Administration approval to install a tower crane at construction site.

Separately, the FAA just issued approval for the permanent height of a second tower known as E11ven Residences Beyond.

The construction crane at the first tower is planned to rise 750 feet above ground, or 761 feet above sea level, according to a January 20 filing.

The estimated work schedule is listed as being from May 3 2023 to November 3 2024.

The FAA has already issued approval for a permanent tower height at E11even Hotel & Residences of 698 feet above ground, or 709 feet above sea level.

Construction is underway at the site, with an active foundation permit issued by Miami’s Building Department.

E11even Hotel & Residences is planned to include, 416 residences, 36,852 square feet of commercial, 2,049 square feet of office, and four floors of parking garage, according to the permit. 100% of residential units are sold out.

John Moriarty & Associates is the contractor.

The second 65-story tower on the same block, E11even Residences Beyond, recently entered the construction permitting phase.

It was approved by the FAA on January 20 for a permanent height nearly identical to the first tower, at 699 feet above ground, or 709 feet above sea level.

If Club Space remain in between these towers, as is, I hope they will modernize the exterior by adding all glass to it and making it look like a brand new low-rise building.

I agree the exterior could use some curb appeal, but not glass. It’s a nightclub, not the Apple Store.

It would look better if a sloped notch like at the bottom was also at a side at the top.

I really like to see some space all around this building. I am not a big fan when buildings are next to each other like sardines!! Miami needs to breathe.

The largest public plaza in the city is immediately in front of it.

It’s called an urban area. If you want “towers in a park,” live in Aventura.
