it’s incredible how slow this tower is moving. it broke ground about a year ago and they built only 6 floors. i hope the construction speeds up and this tower fills that ugly gap in the skyline

It does seem to be moving really slowly.

It’s moving SO SLOW. Each floor takes weeks. I don’t know if builders in Miami are just slow or there is a holdup.

Construction companies are having personnel issues. Not only is Covid an issue but they are having to hire from out of state

Takes about 5 mins to hire a batch of local architects to copy paste another tower.

Broke ground 11 months ago, in February 2021. Foundation work takes about 9 months for a tower like this, so not exactly slow; about average actually.

it’s moving slow compared to other towers of similar size and with very basic designs like luma, caoba and society biscayne

Thus didn’t have a parking garage, the garage portion is quick compared to having to fill out entire residential floors.

If you can build better than The Melo Group, then why haven’t you taken your money, brought some empty lots, and used your business acumen to show us why you build better buildings than Melo?

Waitaminute.. the proposal of the buildings they show in Fort Lauderdale is “ugly” to some of you people in Miami but the design of this bs looks good to you?.. wtf?

Anonymous

Agree, apart from the base, this tower is rubbish but clean is still better than The Crosby’s balcony schizophrenia.

Urban development is good development…. It’s sprawl that destroys our natural world ….
