Photos: $1 Billion Residences By Armani Casa Topping Off In Sunny Isles

In Sunny Isles, the 56-story Residences By Armani Casa tower is just about topped off.

On July 15, an executive with developer Related Group wrote on Instagram that the tower was three weeks from top off, after the 53rd floor was poured.

The tower is being built at 649 feet above ground- the maximum height permitted in the area, and on par with the tallest in Sunny Isles.

At sellout, the value of all condos is $1 billion. There are 306 condos being built.

Sunny Isles get cool architects who design beautiful towers while Miami got uninspiring Arquitectonica… smh……

The newer buildings in Sunny Isle have some of the best architecture in the County. This one is great, Herzog de Mueron’s Jade Signature is phenomenal. Even ARQ’s Regalia is good. Part of the reason is that Sunny Isles now has higher design standards than Miami. The endless ARQ three sided monstrosities with the 4th side being an open utility/fire corridor with thousands of silly little porch lights would not be allowed in Sunny Isles. It’s a disgrace that these cheap piles of painted concrete blocks dominate the Miami skyline.

Look up uninspiring in the dictionary and you’ll see this building.

Looks better than that stupid looking Elysee hammer looking tower they’re building in Miami.

…or anything proposed/under construction/built in Edgewater within the last five years, for that matter. Instead of spending money for water jetpack and saxophone parties, how about architecture which isn’t a box?

Just a matter of time before the small building between the 2 Towers is demolished, and a high-end condo gets built

The architect of record is Cesar Pelli. Same firm which designed the Performing Arts Center downtown….

How come the tower cranes get to break the height restrictions limit? Also why would the FIA limit the height here to 649ft where the major airports are so far away?

The cranes are temporary

Okay I want to sell my property in Sunny Isles but having problems with the Building President. Now we have the first High rise luxuary building built The Florida Ocean Club and if they level this old building to build some thing inspiring as these new buildings then also our worth goes higher in value . Just for us to get this approved the Building President has the Penthouse and wants no change or to move so this creates a big problem . Only he can charge a few million and hire two Mexicans on a Scafold to paint with mops paying them minimum wage got the job done in two weeks . They only charged 4 million dollars . But this is legal right ?
Kickbacks and hiring only companies you own or family or friend owned . It’s like it’s mafia controlled .

That building isn’t old, and you and your neighbors in that building can’t afford the new foreign money laundering palaces anyways, so where you gonna go after you sell out? Think before you leap.

The laws have changed to prevent this from happening. The condo association members can be held personally liable for the decisions the make, and if you can prove that they are receiving kick backs, they can end up in jail.
