Photos: Aston Martin Residences Nears Completion As Miami’s Second Tallest Tower

In downtown Miami, the 66-story Aston Martin Residences is moving closer to completion, new photos by Phillip Pessar show.

The tower is now the second tallest in Miami, at 816 feet above ground (that also makes it the second tallest in the State of Florida).

who said “finishing up”? article said “moving closer”. I guess as opposed to further away. Cheers.

I spoke to a worker at the site. He says January.

january will be the year you finally land back in NY and resume your life earning more bc of better salaries there

New York’s rent is double Miami’s, but salaries are comparable. No wonder many prefer Miami, and I’m not sorry to more companies and friends are moving to Miami from New York, California, Illinois, and all over the world. Miami has so much to offer as a place to live, work and raise a family.

I don’t agree that NYC’s salaries are comparable to Miami’s, but a high income doesn’t save you from NYC’s winter wrath. Miami’s winters ae priceless.

We have a small studio in NYC (Columbus Circle). The quality of life in NYC is much worse than the lifestyle Miami gives us. Viva Miami.
But, there is an energy that I can only take for 3 days max in NYC.
It’s nice to visit but would hate to live there.

Quality of life in Miami is arguably the worst for the Cost of Living in any major city, the average income in Miami is $23k. Put that into perspective when we’re talking “Aston Martin Residencies” This is a caste city with virtually 0 affordable housing and a lack of new jobs. in 10 years there’s going to be more condos than companies. Awful pedestrian infrastructure doesn’t make up for the weather.

I live next door and they are working on this 6 days a week, but still moving slowly. Water feature in the front is almost done, working on sidewalks and facade as well. Penthouses still have a lot of work so even a January date is aggressive.

That building has taken so long to complete that you would think that the construction workers used their feet instead of hands. The end results are definitely very nice and no doubt the quality of the materials are first rate, though.

Stunning addition to Downtown, which is rapidly growing.

It’s funny how most videos about Brickell always show Aston Martin, which is downtown.

Anon

True. It’s literally a drive/walk across the bridge to Brickell though

Anonymous

Yea but it’s not in Brickell

Anon

Sounds like a short distance until people from Brickell start talking about walking to Whole Foods – then it’s a million miles!

You shouldn’t have to travel 30 minutes to get to a grocery store other than Publix from central Brickell.

You can go to Winn Dixie on Key Biscayne or Coral Way. Just 10 mins away

The busiest bridge in Miami, they should add a Trader Joe’s by Park Avenue Bridge (2nd ave)

Look at that dark podium canyon between it and Epic. A modern dark alley.

The Epic driveway is there, actually. It’s not podium to podium

There’s also a stairway to the Baywalk where boats are docked right between the two buildings. It’s a nice spot that you can traverse on foot currently.

This lower area of Downtown has gotten really nice. Hopefully it starts to creep up towards Flagler Street. Miami needs its center area (this district) to be a booming and nice area.

Glorious looking, it must be spectacular as its been going since 2017… over 6 years now, Ill be at the ready to pick off a unit as rates rise and buyers are waiting 7 years may not be able to gather the remaining 50% due at closing

Hmmm. will this be a FSR or KWPM managed property?

How much did it cost to stop the building from settling on one side faster than the other??

This tower is gorgeous. Even on that small lot, they managed to at least try and put some liner units on the podium

Funny, the Arquitectonica-esque liner units are probably the most detracting feature of this building, apart from being next to Epic. It would have been better if the glass window facade continued. Still, better than a tacky mural.

Saying that OKAN and Waldforf will never get built…..

The fact that it has gotten this far is more a credit to the resilience of Coto, not the brilliant investment. Cheers.
