is there? BCC has 3-4 levels of underground garages spanning ~4 blocks…

You can never have enough parking in Miami. If I have to walk more than 1/2 a block then it’s a failure.

I think we should start building parking garage for parking garages.

We could have had one of Miami’s tallest as proposed here in the recent past, and now we get a damn parking garage. If it’s meant to be the base of a tower, we better get something great, especially if it’s by HOK.

The market is doing good now! So many people are moving to Florida and Miami this very moment. They should start construction on the tower already!

Pretty sure the office market is favorable at the moment. Given it’s proximity to Metrorail and Mover this would be a great spot!

If you believe that then you know nothing about architecture. In order to build a skyscraper you need to have a very deep base that will hold such a structure as they did when 1000 Museum was being built. They are not doing that in this lot, if in the future they do decide to build something tall they will have to destroy this parking lot and start from scratch.
