Photos: Construction Progress At Missoni Baia, Now Two Stories Up

Oko Group’s Missoni Baia project in Edgewater reached the second level as of last week.

Based on the submitted plans, the developers appear to be building the parking garage of the building first.

The project includes a seven story garage with 399 parking spaces.

The Missoni Baia condo tower itself will rise 56 stories, or 649 feet, and include 249 condos.

I don’t giveadamn about their spoiled little brat attitudes, a few buildings at least thirty stories tall won’t kill or destroy them.

I like this building. It is very nice. We should do in Edgewater what happened in Sunny Isles Beach where they raised the tallest a tower can be built to 700′. Just a few skyscrapers that height in Edgewater will make for a splendid skyline!

Fantastic! Another dead zone in the making along Edgewater’s streets. The parking garage could have been wrapped with townhouses or lofts, but nope… It’s gotta be nothing but a street for cars entering and existing parking garages and dog crapping area.

I guess you think that makes you appear intelligent?

That’s a solid looking tower for Edgewater.

So the tower itself will be started only after the garage is done…too early to get excited.

Does the garage have retail at ground level?
