Aventura Mall, already one of America’s biggest, is getting bigger.
An expansion project is well underway. According to The Real Deal, the $200 million project will include:
The top level will have a food hall with at least 12 outlets, and a VIP lounge.
Carlos Zapata is the architect.
At the entrance, there will be a 93-foot tall sculpture by Belgian artist Carsten Höller that visitors will be able to slide down.
On the opposite side of the mall, Seritage is about to begin demolition of the Sears store to make way for another expansion.
