Thank you Zaha for leaving your imprint on Miami before leaving this earth.

Stunning.. Can’t believe this was a BP gas station just a few years ago.

The change around that whole area is stunning. I definitely remember nights at Mecca and going to that gas station for hydration.

That is what happens when you just leave the developers alone.

right? i used to like archetectonica – but you can’t have a city where every building looks the same… starts to look like a big suburb

Perosnally this is my favorite tower in Miami rn…the Waldorf Astoria may become a challenger when it begins to rise.

Nah, only Aston Martin Residences and Okan Tower can hold a candle.

This is the Ferrari of buildings in Miami.. the curves.. the angles. Just an all around beautiful building, and may be the most interesting building in Miami.

Nice project, it’s a shame it turns it’s back on NE 2 Ave into a gloried (barely) alley.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

True, but give it a few more years. Piece by piece…

Why do I feel much older since when construction on this building started?

The finish on the concrete pillars (above the ground floor cladding) really leaves a lot to be desired.

the building is beautiful, but i have the same thought tho. i’ve been patiently waiting for the seams to be grouted and from the renderings, i thought it would be more brilliant white. in my head, i still think there will be some finishing done to the exoskeleton, filling in the seams and painting.

either way, design and construction team should take a bow, it’s a beautiful work of art.

They are not painting it. I watch a show about it on PBS. That concrete look is the finished look.
