Photos: Line To Get Into The Wharf

Just a few months ago it was an empty lot in downtown Miami. Now, there are lines down the block on a Sunday night to get into The Wharf, downtown Miami’s new riverfront hangout:

There’s a line?!?!!? That must mean I want to go there!!!

I don’t think this is the kinda place to waste a molly. Maybe Space. But not here…

Bugmen camp right next to a homeless camp. You’d think they’re in line for the next iPhone.

Great spot but the walk there along the river SUCKS. Filled with homeless doing drugs and literally going to the bathroom on the riverwalk itself. Such a shame that the riverfront in downtown/Brickell is activated so poorly outside of The Wharf and AmSo.

Notice the homeless. They are there to stay. This is not progress!

I wouldn’t want my daughter or any other woman walking by this location at night…..or daytime. The City needs to provide security and help these indivuals other than providing litter receptacles.

The funniest part is that the City owns the majority of the land where the homeless problem is the worst.
