Photo: Natiivo Construction Reaches Level 20, On The Way To 51

Contractors appear to be at around level 20 of construction at downtown Miami’s Natiivo tower, according to a new photo by Ryan RC Rea.

There’s also a live stream of the construction site, if you want to watch contractors work in real time (but in lower resolution).

Natiivo is planned to rise 51 stories and include condos, hotel, offices, an Italian market, and restaurant space.

This is not the same as the melo cereal boxes that are often derided on this site. This building has some character and will look different from anything surrounding it.

“This is not the same as the melo cereal boxes”

Yeah, the Melo buildings are better looking.

Love this development. Looking into buying my second Miami property here soon. Airbnb doesn’t work in every building but love that these Airbnb-centric buildings will allow us to live here when we want and rent it out when we’re traveling.

I would never want to live in a building that allows Airbnb

That’s totally your right. Not everyone feels the same though, which is why it’s nice to have different options!

Love this building! The base is beautiful and engages the pedestrian realm so well.

Every new building brings in almost 1,000 people with 1,000 cars. We need better public transportation or it will be a mess.

Worldcenter will be bigger and better than Brickell with all these new developments and people moving in.

Nope it will not be better than Brickell

sorry but that isn’t happening. There are no restaurants, offices, and minimal commercial space planned. Like this, it will never become anything close to Brickell

Are you kidding? Have you walked over there recently? There are a number of restaurants opening imminently right by Caoba. And there is TONS of commercial space recently built. Better to refrain from commenting if you have no idea what you’re talking about.

nuh bruh…its only gonna be half occupied like the rest of these…they could just save the money and stop building now to at least make the building look full when actually occupied…

Its going up at nearly Melo speed, it will be a great addition to 6th st and hopfully okan diagonal from this starts soon too. Also maybe MDC could redevelop that empty garden next to their garage for more foot traffic on 6th st.
