Photos: Perricone’s Site Fenced Off In Brickell Ahead Of Demolition By CitizenM

CitizenM has fenced of their property in Brickell, formerly occupied by Perricone’s.

Planning Department approval for the new CitizenM has already been granted.

Approval of a demolition permit appears to be imminent, city records show.

A separate permit to relocate six trees is not yet approved. A construction permit is also still not approved.

That means that Perricones will have to now buy their lizard tails instead of capturing live ones outside from those trees.

If you want to sit in a tree and eat bananas, go to your local park somewhere or the zoo.

Does anyone know when it will open? I drove by it the other day and all I saw was that clown building still there.

Boring… Part of the Perricone’s experience was taking a walk around Brickell with a drink before/after the meal. Pasta Thursdays no longer attractive to me. Will miss the Brickell Perricone’s experience.

They are doing take-out/delivery out of the vacant storefront where Rubi Lounge was (on 7th Street under Neo Vertika/next to American Social).

Citizen M hasn’t started on their world city center parcel yet so i’m sure Perricones will be a empty lot for over a year. Plus its not even approved yet.

That means they’ll probably let a temporary Chinese restaurant open there serving rat and cat dishes.

I’m sure it will be longer than a year.
It’s the MIA legacy. Look at the convention center hotel at World Center…
I’ve lost hope…

No doubt it will become a parking lot in the meantime.

This site should be redeveloped into one YUGE bicycle lane.

Stop looking for people to cater to your cheapness and buy a car.

Actually, a multi-use facility would be a game changer – BIKE LANE, WOONERF, PARK, with an extension of the CLIMATE RIBBON. Maybe include a sub-grade parking garage…
