Photos: PMG’s 571-Foot Society Biscayne Appears To Be At Or Near Top Off

The Society Biscayne tower under construction on Biscayne Boulevard appears to be either topped off, or close to it.

The 49-story apartment tower is the sixth tallest building currently under active construction in city of Miami limits, with an approved height of 571 feet. It also is located in a prominent location in Miami’s skyline.

According to its Notice of Commencement, Society will include:

  • 646 residential units
  • 48,240 square feet of office
  • 3,006 square feet of retail/food and beverage
  • A 10-story, 22,177 square foot church with 329 seats
  • 406 parking spaces

PMG and Greybrook Realty Partners are the developers.

Sieger Suarez is the architect.

But your apartment is boring!!!!

They really think people are going to look down the street at this ugly building and think “yeah, I’ll pay over $1,000 per square foot for their new project” maybe people are that desperate to buy in Miami.

PMG can’t even be bothered to properly maintain the murals they had to install to cover their parking garage on X. The one on the side blew away in a small storm and they’ve yet to replace it.

This building will age poorly.

I’m confused. Why their construction fence has Waldorf Astoria ad? Is this project somewhat related to the Waldorf or is it the same developer and they are trying to promote Waldorf over Society?

Waldorf’s sales center is next door. Its the wood paneled building in the pictures.

I don’t know why people get so excited about this building. It is so simplistic and ugly. I wonder if ever would have ionic buildings in Biscayne Blvd.

Hardly anyone is really excited about the building itself per se, they’re excited that something is finally being added there to fill in Miami’s skyline. Now, will the person who owns that stupid looking parking lot that’s right next to the so-called “Freedom Tower” finally sell it so another tower can be built there?!

The silver lining of rents being as high as they are in the US is that all the development approval boards can simply vote yes and create tons of jobs and utility.
