I really wish this was just another concrete, stucco condo so y’all could shut the fuck up about the design! It’s an observation tower… OBSERVATION TOWER not just a building (hotel, office, residential, etc) it’s just a tower go look it up already. I’m sure you will see a lot of weird looking OBSERVATION TOWERS when you Google it!!! The design for me isn’t bad and it’s not ground breaking either but still better than half the towers I see in Miami!

I don’t care what it is, the design of this thing does not belong in the forefront of Miami’s skyline.. now go on back to Meridian Mississippi and stay there.

When you’re so ignorant of reality you think people who disagree with you lives in Mississippi.

No, but I think someone as stupid as you has to be from South Dakota.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Very specific city you have there!

I’ve never seen an observation tower this oblong and ugly. Even simple ones would look nicer here, hell so would a radio mast.

Hell even this will be built before Mana does anything.

Mana buys property and sells them, he’s not interested in developing anything.

A hideous factory chimney… a barbaric industrial object… confused and deformed… useless and monstrous… all were criticisms preceding the realization of Eiffel Tower.

It’s a beautiful tower.. but haters will hate.. learn to ignore

Anonymous

So you’re telling us you love the design of every building you’ve seen so far that went up in Miami’s skyline?

And please, calling someone a “hater” is so overused and played out.

Except the Eiffel Tower had the weight of being ahead of its time. As hundreds of observation towers exist around the world, this could become one of the ugliest if built.

The Eiffel Tower has the same perspective on the eye no matter what direction you see it in, same with the space needle in Seattle, the CN Tower in Toronto, and many other observation towers throughout the world. With the “swooping” angle they designed in this observation tower, it throws the elegance of how it should look off and makes it look cartoonish.

The economic impact of the Skyrise will be enormous.. increases the activities available and makes living in Miami even better.

Wow, now that’s some breaking news.. I’ll tell that to the people in Miami who are struggling to pay rent and make ends meet every month.

I don’t see any foundation work active. There does appear to be concrete plant equipment in the background but no real work going on.

Seems like Miami can’t cut it out with the Arquitectonica “wavy balcony” and this poorly designed crap.

Anonymous

It’s a great design. Once it’s built and downtown will be thriving with people and activities, you’ll be glad

The design of this thing looks stupid to be in the forefront of Miami’s skyline. Somewhere like Point Park or Port of Miami and yeah, I wouldn’t care.
