Photos: The Orb In South Beach, Which Conceals A Passageway Between Two Buildings

What appears to be a giant beach ball caught in A South Beach alley is actually hiding a hallway between two buildings.

The Orb was designed by architect Allan Shulman to connect two historic hotels, The Betsy and The Carlton. It was completed in 2016.

It is made of rounded fiberglass panels, but inside it just looks like a regular hallway, according to the Herald.
