Photos: Trader Joe’s New Store In Midtown Miami Is Now Being Stocked

Food items are now in place at the new Trader Joe’s store in Midtown Miami.

Trader Joe’s is now seeking to hire new employees for the Midtown location, according to posters seen at the storefront.

The store will also have garage parking, according to a sign seen at the entrance.

Interior buildout of the store at the ground floor of the Gio Midtown building began in June 2021. An exact opening date still hasn’t been revealed by the company.

We need one at Miami Worldcenter and we also need a Whole Foods. The area is seeing a huge increase in population so it’s time!

We need a Starbucks Reserve at MWC! One that would be so cool, people would come from all over to visit.

You have a Whole Foods 7 blocks away!

No we do not need a basic bitch Starbucks Becky nor a WF when there’s one already within walking distance…this neighborhood needs more cafes and restaurants and perhaps a bodega.

neat. Many (most?) in the south beach location come by foot + bike. Hope it’s a similar make up here!

Wynwood becoming more walkable. Still, doesn’t compare to west part of SoBe, where you can walk to 2 Publixs, TJs, Fresh Market, Office Depot, Ace Hardware. movie theater, lots of restaurants, paddle in Biscayne Bay, and enjoy an 8 mile ocean walk.

With that way of thinking we shouldn’t improve upon anything lets just have the bare minimum. In fact we already have several Trader Joe’s why build another one. Pendeja.

They have EV chargers in the Trader Joe’s Coral Gables garage

I think it’s required for garages in Florida to offer them. In any event, required or no, they are in every garage I frequent.

Wynwood needs a Royal Blue boutique grocery store or a Sprouts.

this is the reason wholefoods finally got a fire under that project at 29th and biscayne…they were more interested in developing a second south beach store in an already glutted out grocery area…

IDK for a California company, I’ll give them credit for standing up to that manufactured outrage over their ethnic food products having humorous names.

How about BRICKELL OR DOWNTOWN MIAMI?

Even crappy Melo can build and outfit a 30+ story building within the same timeframe. Trader Joe’s needs to stop dragging its foot!

What do you expect for The New Normal™? It takes months to stock a new grocery store.

It’s called city/county building inspection process failures. Stockingvtakes less than a week.

You know, you could have done a public records request to see who took the longest on permitting and inspections before throwing baseless anti-muni claims. Not only has TJ’s taken forever to open their other SoFla locations, but there’s not as many folks as you think there are reviewing permits and inspecting buildings for both the city and county.
