Agree with you.. Melody building is fully rented and you see a lot of younger professionals in the area. Before long all the empty lots will be replaced by new projects.

You can hate all day on Melo… but they actually start and finish buildings on time.

Neighborhood is still in it’s infancy, good location next to new Canvas and Filling Station projects. We need for projects like this in the urban core.

It’s exciting to see the level of investment in our city. What worries me is the apparent lack of strategic planning for these neighborhoods. Great cities like NY, Boston DC, Chicago have a transportation infrastructure, green space and a sense of scale. I don’t see the same partnership between developers and city planning focused with purpose on building authentic neighborhoods that take into consideration more than FAA approval.

The risk that Melo took investing in the Omni inner city was huge.. really before any other developer would touch it.. Melo deserve the credit and I’m sure is profiting greatly.

I always get confused by this rendering because it has Brickell in the background.

Makes two of us. The first time I saw this rendering I thought it was going to be by the Brickell Metrorail Station….

I love all the upcoming projects in this Arts district.. just to the north of new Signature Buillding.. a lot of projects in the works in Miami. I hope they invest in Elementary and Middle schools in the area.

Sweet. Melo definitely upped its game in terms of design. Few more of nice buildings, and I’ll become a fan.
