Plans Filed For Two Cranes At Edgewater Site Where 38-Story Tower Planned

Plans have been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration to install two cranes at the 2900 Terrace site in Edgewater.

The filing was made on June 3.

According to the submission, the two cranes are planned to rise 475 feet above ground, or 484 feet above sea level.

Construction permitting for the tower is now underway with Miami’s Building Department. Review of the plans by officials began on May 28, after the pre-screen process was completed. No contractor is yet attached to the permit.

2900 Terrace is planned to include:

  • 324 luxury apartments
  • 8,000 square feet of full service restaurant
  • 8,000 square feet of retail
  • over 500 parking spaces
