Plans Revealed For Related Group’s 2850 Tigertail HQ Building In Coconut Grove

Related Group has unveiled plans for an office building in Coconut Grove called 2850 Tigertail that will serve as their Headquarters.

In a Linkedin post, Cushman & Wakefield Managing Director Ryan Holtzman said he was representing Related.

2850 Tigertail will be an eight-story building with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, courtyards, terraces with glass railings, and views of Biscayne Bay.

“Museum quality art” from the private collection of Jorge Perez’s will adorn the building.

Five floors are available for lease. The top two floors will be occupied by Related.

Related’s current headquarters is at the base of the One Miami condo towers in downtown Miami, completed by the developer in 2006.

Arquitectonica is the architect. MKDA is doing interior design.

I hope they use the same janky fixtures they use in their condos so they can see what it’s like to have to deal with that all day after the building is a year old.

That’s why they’re moving. They’re tired of the crappy quality at the home office. LMAO

Great looking architecture, I like the incorporation of terraces and vegetation, and especially the related logo blending seamlessly into the facade composition as well as the graphic building Logo. Very sharp design work ??

Nice building but it’s going to suck for employees who can currently walk to work or take the mover.

I work in the grove and sometime take the metro… not a bad walk just about a mile

Sounds fun in summer humidity.

True.
But, the metrorail goes to 27th Ave and South Dixie, then take the free FreeBee using that app, or one of the electric scooters at that station.
If the new building going up right now it should be eco-smart, then it should have showers and bike lock areas to achieve LEED points for its employees.

Imagine working at Arquitectonica down the street and being insulted with this boring concrete box built by one of your frequent clients.

You do realize Arquitectonica is the architect of this building right?

I think it’s telling that they didn’t use Arquitectonica for their HQ, but uses them for all of their condos…

Related isn’t an architectural firm… they hire different architects for their projects

So how can outsourcing to different architects can end up producing the same old, boring designs?
