Trailer For Miami-Filmed Bad Boys For Life Released, With Brickell City Centre Playing A Starring Role

The official trailer for the upcoming film Bad Boys for Life was released yesterday, and Brickell City Centre plays a starring role.

In one scene, a Porsche can be seen racing through Brickell City Centre’s mall.

Another scene appears to have been shot at Island Gardens, in the club and marina on Watson Island.

There’s also a scene shot at The Bentley Bay Condominiums at the entrance to South Beach, on a terrace that has some of the best views of downtown Miami.

Filming took place in Miami this past spring. Much of the film was also shot in Atlanta due to incentives offered by the state of Georgia.

The film is set for release on January 17, 2020.

I just hope the movie doesn’t pretend Brickell or Downtown is in South Beach.

A24’s independent film Waves was also shot in South Florida. Coming out in November. This could be the next Moonlight… lots of buzz around the movie for awards season. Keep the movies coming and keep showing off our beautiful South Florida cities.

I think the helicopter/explosions scene at the end is (possibly) in downtown Atlanta over the I75/I85 connector with the Miami skyline added in. Can’t think of a bridge wit that view here that has a curved pedestrian fence and a billboard.

Totally agree with you.
Atlanta or Toronto.
We lost film industry to those cities…

At least you can’t film on the streets of Los Angeles and call it Miami anymore, because it has utterly gone to hell. Ahh, the days when they made fun of us.

Hopefully not like Dexter with FL plates in the front.

If that helicopter would have exploded over Brickell City Center, no one would have been hurt cause the place is always empty.

Miami looks beautiful as usual. Unfortunately, its the same old cliché about the city. It doesn’t help our reputation.
