Just got back from Denver – and absolutely loved a grocery store there called Sprouts. Really hope they get that brand here. Denver seems to have many more grocery options than here including high end and organic. Don’t get me wrong, the stores here are nice, but variety is important. Would also be nice to get a yellow and green type farmers market in downtown Miami.

Overtown = Gentrification (Out with the old (Get rid of all the black folks), in with the new (Anyone that’s not black)).

I would have preferred a Milam or Trader Joes or Whole Foods and not boring Publix

Variety is the spice of life. It would be nice to have a grocery store with artesanal breads, pastries. Publix breads are all frozen, full of chemicals or both and wrapped in plastic
Yuck!!!!!

Publix is a great grocery store. Maybe they will make it a Publix greenwise which is even better.

I don’t know about Trader Joes but Whole Foods is definitely too pricey for this area.

Not true. Look up some of the prices for condos in Park West 🙂

Publix bakes their breads on site. Not frozen.

Clearly, you have never eaten a Pubsub.

Nobody actually wants another Publix. Trader Joe’s would be a MAGNET for all of DADE county.
