Qatar Airways continued to enjoy full planes on the Miami-Doha route last month.
About 93% of the seats on Qatar Airways’ 777-200LR were occupied during the month of August. From Doha to Miami, 95% of seats were full, while on the return from Miami 91% of seats were full.
The airline is also enjoying full freight loads on the route. Qatar carried more freight tons to and from MIA than all European passenger airlines and many cargo-only carriers (including Korean Air), despite flying just four times per week.
Overall passenger traffic at MIA dropped 0.8% during August as American Airlines reduced capacity.
