Another beautiful proposal for Downtown Fort Lauderdale! Growing into such a fantastic, walkable urban area!

We missed two weeks of news about Miami, I’m sure you could find a ton of news about Miami instead of reporting on different cities…

Evidently someone found a way to abuse the rating system here.

Nothing pisses Miamians off more than a nice building in Fort Lauderdale hahaha

You seem very triggered, two comments under the same comment, and so bitter🤣

We aren’t bothered about buildings in Fort Lauderdale as we would love for your city to become nice also. We are only bothered by wasted articles on this page about Miami, especially when we had two weeks with no articles.

It’s like comparing a Ferrari with a Toyota really. Miami is at a whole different level but Fort Lauderdale is also somehow nice.

Anonymous

Yes, because stacked boxes and recycled Arquitectonica designs are Ferraris. More like Kias, LOL.

Exactly.

Downtown Miami looks like skid row. Downtown Fort Lauderdale is gorgeous. Get real.

Miami has a long ways to go before it’s a Ferrari.

I wish the city of fort lauderdale would increase the height limit of buildings. The skyline is starting to look like a flat pancake. Everything is the same height.

Downtown FTL is closer to FLL than downtown Miami is to MIA. Unlikely FAA would allow it.

Eh, might want to retract on that. MIA is actually a little closer to Downtown Miami than Hollywood is Downtown FTL. At least MIA is in the Miami city limits.

Nice! That’s currently essentially a vacant lot. Will be very happy to see this filled.

Is this really not an “Arquitectonica” designed building?

Totally looks like yet another scribble design from Arquitectonica until you look more closely – and it has details! Addresses corner, aligns with neighboring building, has some nice articulation at balcony edges, and has nice sized residences larger than expected….. etc.
Much nicer than an Arquitectonica 5 min design.

According to some people on this site, this is already in Miami..,

And STILL others can’t manage to wrap their brains around the immensely complex idea of a metropolitan area. What’s with you guys? Please give it a rest.

Anonymous

Except it looks like every other cereal box with goody balconies proposed in Miami.

When did Arquitectonica change their name to “Cohen Freedman Encinosa and Pininfarina?”

Very nice, all the way up, then the two
mechanical structures above the parapet look very hasty, even bland 1970’s in appearance. Come on guys! Go back and finish the design!

Here it comes Fort Lauderdale…. gentrification!

You wish

What’s there to gentrify? The location is pretty upscale.

You clearly don’t remember how downtown FTL was 20 years ago.
