Renderings Show An Oppenheim Designed Office Building In The Design District On Property Owned By Chinese Billionaires

In the Miami Design District, renderings of a mixed-use project including an office building have surfaced, designed by Oppenheim Architecture.

The property is now owned by Chinese billionaires Zhang Xin & Pan Shiyi, according to The Real Deal. They were previously the mortgage holder on the property.

Redsky Capital was the former owner of the property, and the developer who the renderings were prepared for. The company signed over the properties to their lender in September.

The property is now listed for sale by Cushman & Wakefield.

According to structural engineer DeSimone, the project would have had a 20-story office building and two levels of undergrounds parking, along with multiple floors of retail and restaurant.

Keep on building further north and connect those areas to the metromover. I love this design!

That would be a dream but building stops on the bright line track as proposed would be huge for the corridor north of Miami at least. I’ll settle with that given our bad current public transportation.

This means more office spaces for Miami and this means more good paying to high-paying career opportunities

I wish this was being built. More office space in the DD would insure it’s not only about retail and dining, than a backdrop for ig selfies

I like all the green roofs. Too bad I’m not sure any of them actually exist.

Tell that to the government that lets chickens and roosters run around in the streets of Miami.
