Report: Messi Buying Condos At 80-Story Brickell Tower

Lionel Messi is buying four condo units at the Cipriani Residences tower that is under construction in Brickell, according to the WSJ.

One of the units is said to be valued at $7.5M. The value of the other three units is not known.

The Cipriani tower is planned to reach a near-supertall height of 940 feet above ground, and 950 feet feet above sea level, which is taller than any existing building in Brickell.

It will include 397 luxury condos when it opens, in a tower designed by Arquitectonica.

Completion is planned for 2028.

This will be a tower of righteousness! With the Lord guiding Messi to purchase an abode in this beautiful structure, all who live there will have a wealth of blessings. My prayers today will mention Arquitectonica, so they will be guided by Him.

Matthew 6:1 (ESV)

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.” Basically, the Bible warns repeatedly that invoking God to glorify our own plans or ideas—even religious-sounding ones—misses the point.

Maybe you need some relaxasleep.

I love the height and the balconies but comparing this tower to the Cipriani Tower being built in Dubai makes us look diminutive. Same goes for the Mercedes B developments. For some reason architects in Dubai are definitely more creative.

It’s amazing what you can build when you basically enslave your workers and don’t have any strict safety regulation in place. Dubai sucks, it’s a terrible place so they need to lure people in with these designs. Miami could build crap and people would still move in.

Except that has nothing to do with it better architecture.

Dubai is the tackiest of them all. If there is a dystopia in this world that would be Dubai or some Chinese city. I hope that we never end looking like Dubai or be anything Dubai represents.

Well...

Well, in 30 years, it’s become one of the top cities in the world. It’s also one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Something must not be right with all your negative statements about this city.

Americans love Dubai – he may not even be American, pay him no mind.

What do we represent that’s so much better?

Its not architects its developers and the design they want to pay for. The Miami market dictates that you can get away with copy-paste ARQitechture and a brand name. The Dubai market would laugh at our stucco and glass “luxury” towers.

It is sad that the developers here have lacked vision for awhile. in 30 years, we will wake up and people will still be gawking to see art deco buildings on south beach from the 1920s because very few iconic buildings will have been built since then. It’s not safety regulation that is stopping iconic buildings from being built. What an idiotic comment.

Our president is the greatest since Abe Lincoln. He’s engaging the world finally to make tariffs fair for our nation. He’s succeeding

You need to educate yourself on how tariffs work. You might note that in just a matter of weeks “Your President” has ruined a perfectly healthy economy. Those tariffs you are so proud of are ultimately paid for by the consumer, NOT the country the goods came from.

You’re missing the point. The tariffs weren’t made to stay. They’re made to bring people to the table and get our products in other markets. Go to Europe, go to Asia. You don’t see Ford, Chevy, Tesla’s, Dodge.. etc. You do see in the US Audi, VW, BMW and others though. In order for the US to remain powerful and the best country on earth we need to protect our industries and protect our consumers. China does not compete on fair playing grounds.
