Miami planners have approved construction of a Residence Inn By Marriott in Brickell, and a construction permit is now pending.
The eight-story building will include 206 hotel keys.
The developers are on a tight construction timeline and requested expedited life and safety review of a building permit last month.
Hard construction cost is estimated at $30.5 million in the permit filing.
Hs Brickell Lodging, Lllp, a subsidiary of Chattanooga, Tennessee-based 3H Group, is the developer. The company is also developing an AC by Marriott near Midtown Miami, and owns a Hampton Inn next to the AC hotel site.
Behar Peteranecz of Tamps is the architect.
