Plans have been submitted to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board for a residential tower in Edgewater.
The project is proposed to rise 38 stories, or 380 feet above sea level and include:
- 324 residential units (average unit size 1,069 square feet)
- 22,354 square feet of office use
- 13,108 square feet of commercial use
- park/plaza space in excess of 10,000 square feet in order to encourage pedestrian interaction
- 515 parking spaces on levels 2, 3 4 and 5, with artistic garage screening component
A robust landscaping plan is planned, incorporating native trees that are appropriate for the area and can provide shade to pedestrians.
Arquitectonica is the architect.
Oak Row Equities and LNDMRK Development are partnering to develop the new tower.
The UDRB hearing is scheduled for November 15.
