Revision Filed To Site Work Permit For 80-Story Cipriani Residences Property

A revision has been filed to the site work permit for the Brickell property where the 80-Story Cipriani Residences is planned.

The site work permit was first applied for in December 2022, and approved and issued in June 2023.

According to the initial filing, a total of $3,436,000 worth of work was planned.

On October 10, a revision request was filed. Notes attached to the revision request state that the purpose of the revision is “to include the Deep Soil Mixing and Tubular Soil Mixing Scope as part of the Soil Improvement.”

The revision is listed as being approved as of November 6.

Moss & Associates is listed as the contractor.

Three towers are planned for the property

The 80-story Cipriani Residences tower is planned at a height of 940 feet above ground, or 950 feet feet above sea level.

Two additional towers are planned to rise 50 and 60 stories, with 856 apartment units.

The combined three towers are planned to have around 1,300 condo and apartment units

The revision should be to add liner units. With such a big lot, there’s zero excuse to have lifeless podium like that

That podium cheapens this otherwise beautiful project…a real shame and very short-sighted.

Exactly. What could have been an ultra luxury building with great architecture, makes it looks like a typical apartment building in Florida…

They could have incorporated brick at the base or stone or at least more glass. Instead cheap screening

Exactly how dense are those towers? The one rendering makes it seem as the condo on the east is about 20′ from the rental just west of it. I know it is a huge block but the renderings make it seem odd.

Please! We are NOT NYC! We (as a native of 60 years(, are not well educated and life here is like pulling teeth. So, good luck on any slim comparison. At the most, we have the much better weather and lifestyles.

One more thing; I have a good friend with a son attending Columbia U. I went to Columbia. He went to Columbia….. all Ivy League etc…. He is now a billionaire and rents a CPW coop for his 17 year old son. So, we spent 15+ years in NYC.
He was an exec at BearStearns and other Singapore banks…… He says, “why in the world- if one had a choice on where to live / do business….. would one choose NYC?” San Diego, Dallas, Miami…. much happier locations/ options.

I see that the old One Broadway site that is being renovated across the street from this project has now been re-branded as La Mare Hotel and Residences. Anyone know what that’s about? Is it the same La Mare that’s in the Bay Harbor islands?
