Whats the status on the tower?

Unfortunately if they didn’t raze that dumpy Chicken Kitchen building then this won’t be going up anytime soon. They likely just want more space to charge $$$ for their parking lot.

If the Chicken Kitchen is cash flowing, why raze it until it absolutely needs to come down?

Any redevelopment should also include the Chicken Kitchen and 7-Eleven.

7 Elevens are a determent to all of downtown, its just a glorified homeless hangout.

This is stupid. NYC has corner stores on most blocks in EVERY neighborhood, rich, poor ans everything between.

Chicken Kitchen, 7-Eleven, etc. obviously can relocate nearby.

Doesn’t make sense to have a new building with a dumpy chicken restaurant on a dirty street, right next to it. When was the last time they cleaned their windows or their part of the sidewalk ? I wish they would have offered them money to relocate or to renovate.
