Russian Developer Takes Ownership Of Brickell Site Where 70-Story Tower Advertised

Vladislav Doronin’s OKO Group has taken full ownership of the 830 Brickell site where a 70-story luxury residential tower has been advertised.

Doronin swapped out of a partnership with Ugo Colombo, a spokesman for Colombo told The Real Deal. Colombo received full ownership of the Brickell Flatiron site.

In Edgewater, OKO will soon begin sales for a 649-foot residential tower at the 700 Edgewater site, which was assembled at a cost of $39 million. OKO also recently purchased a property in Brickell for $48 million with plans for a 48-story tower.

Doronin’s company completed construction last year of the Skidmore, Owings and Merrill-designed OKO Tower in Moscow. It was the tallest tower in Europe when it was completed, at a height of 1,160-feet.
