Sales Launch For 40-Story Edgewater Tower

In Edgewater, a 40-story tower called Cove Miami has just launched sales.

The developers say it will be a boutique luxury condo project, with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, and the entire city of Miami. A waterside restaurant is also planned.

Cove Miami will include 116 residential condos, ranging from 2 to 4 bedrooms.

Prices will range from $1.3 million to over $3.5 million.

OneWorld Properties is overseeing sales and marketing.

The plans were submitted to the UDRB in October 2022. At the time, the plans showed the tower will top off around 465 feet, with a new section of baywalk (the renderings appear to have been revised slightly since then).

Kobi Karp and Dieguez Fridman collaborated in designing the architecture, while the interiors were designed solely by Dieguez Fridman.

New York’s SB Development is partnering with Hazelton Capital Group to develop the project.

Love the fact they start at 2 bedrooms and go to 4 most developments only focused on studio and one bedrooms

Yeah as long as you got $1.3 million to over $3.5 million to spend 😛

Who exactly do you think reads this blog? Please speak for yourself. $1.3M is not a high price to pay for a Miami condo nowadays. Even the shittiest Brickell condo is going for close to half a mil.

Who reads this blog? School kids living at home with their parents. Aspiring urban planners studying at MDC and FIU. Bartenders living 3 to an apartment so they can get that Brickell address on their licenses. Maybe a few ultra hi-net worth individuals, and plenty more poseurs.

The “vast majority” can’t afford to live east of SW 1st Ave.

However, many who many not be able to afford it today can do what is necessary to afford it in the future.

Edgewater is just exploding! It may be the most centrally located neighborhood in Miami – just minutes to Wynwood, Miami Beach, Design District, Museum Park, etc

Centrally located between downtown and Miami Beach 🤣😂🤣

Some thoughtful people would argue that it isn’t that centrally located because if you walked one mile to the east, you would drown or get smacked down by a gaggle of jet skis.

Even if it were true, is “centrally located” the best place to be? That eastern walk to Miami Beach is either wet or dangerous.

^^^ True. Central implies center.

I am pretty sure that the people who named Edgewater, might have observed that the neighborhood was on the edge of the water, and not in the center of anything. Maybe not…what do I know.

Amenity deck looks great! Like the east/west pool placement as well as the unit size mix 👍👍

They should buy the smaller tower next to it and increase their footprint.

The non-historic single story houses across the street should go instead. “The Edgewater Bungalows?” They have to be one and a half stories to be considered bungalows.

Love this. Although, views will definitely not be unobstructed as that state. Villa Miami is going up on the lot just east of it, directly on the water.

That’s only to the East though. I imagine the marketing is referring to the Southward facing views, which will truly be unobstructed.

It’s like Arqueeftectonica and Kobi Krap are trying to outdo each other for who can design the most unimaginative box plastered with pointy balconies.

Absolutely attrocious design, and replacement considering I remember when there used to be a charming Mediterranean Revival home on this lot that with restoration, would have been far better.

Edgewater could use an office tower on the water with commercial and retail spaces throughout the neighborhood a lot of the streets are going to be gridlocked to Biscayne Boulevard especially around 27th

Dale

Existing zoning doesn’t allow office on the water.

…and then the street leading to it will be gridlocked.
