Site Work Permit Applied For At Property Where 54-Story Tower Planned

Melo Group has applied for a site work permit at a downtown Miami property where it plans a 54-story tower.

The tower will be known as Downtown 6th. A master construction permit is in process.

Review of the site work permit is not yet underway. It was applied for on June 17, and lists $5.5 million worth of site work.

The FAA and Miami’s UDRB approved plans for the tower last year. A utilities deal was completed earlier this year.

Downtown 6th is planned to rise 574 feet above ground, or 587 feet above sea level, and include:

  • 824 apartments
  • 2,247 square feet of retail
  • 639 parking spaces, in a hidden garage
